Worst airport security experience EVER!It seems that the luggage check in is a detailed and thorough inspection, felt like being a criminal. If you happen to check in, do fit your liquids in the small sealed bags and make sure the bag closes, as otherwise any items have to be disposed. When attempting to assist the security personnel, staff started stating do not touch your luggage. Flying multiple times each month in various airports every year, I have never encountered such stubborn staff... Be prepared...
Small regional airport that sets an example to the bigger airports within the UK. Easy parking close to terminals, not excessive parking charges like Bristol. Always had a good experience using Exeter airport, luggage has always been off loaded quickly and ready to collect.
Usually a fantastic experience with this airport, tainted today by the rude elderly woman at the security gate. Her attitude towards customers was being witnessed by numerous colleagues and I was surprised to see that her behaviour wasn't being addressed. One bad apple.....
Easy parking. Nice small airport for check in. Restaurant not cheap. Not a huge duty free but enough perfume drinks and gifts.
Dropping someone off for an early flight, arrived 9.30am, decided to have a coffee before they went into departures, and as i hadn't had breakfast as we where travelling from plymouth i wanted something to eat, as I'm gluten free i appreciate this is difficult however all i was offered was cake, not nice at 9.30am, i would get toast in departures but as i am not departing this wasnt helpful, the person behind the counter did after a think phone departures and get some brought through, hence 3*. Would have been nice if the cafe could offer a better choice of gluten free, or instantly offer to order it from departures and save the stress.
