This place is by far my favourite foody in Exeter. You do not need to be a vegetarian or vegan to enjoy it!

I think the staff had a bad day when I visited - they seemed quite impatient and annoyed. Nevertheless four stars because the cakes and drinks are high quality! It's also really nice to sit outside even in autumn.

Compact and bijou. Lots of vegan options. Yummy cakes; yet to sample any of their savoury fare, but hope the veeg homity pie is there next time we are coz it looks yum! (Always interesting conversations to earwig in there too )

Love this cafe for lunch. Excellent choice of delicious plant based foods & lovely to sit outside looking at the cathedral on a sunny day!

I'm dairy free so finding a cafe where I can eat most the items on the menu is pretty hard. This cafe is lovely! The staff are friendly, lovely to talk to and genuinely helpful. Small and homely. (apparent from the drunks shouting on the cathedral green outside, but nothing anyone can do about that) .The food is really yummy: quiches, vegan falafa wraps (sorry for the spelling) and savoury vegan tarts with a choice of 5 different salad sides (yes you can get a bit of each). Desserts are cake choices... Of which half were vegan when I visited (including chocolate cake and banana bread). The price for about 8 for vegan tart and salad. So it's not cheap, but not too expensive. Worth every penny though! The only negatives were the impossible to cut bottom of my tart... But even then I got everything I could off the base to eat.... It was that good. Also the environment coursed by the people outside on the green, who I've discovered are there pretty much every day unfortunately.
