I love the clothes in this shop. However, yesterday I asked how much a jacket was because several jackets had many different prices. The guy (who was super kind) told me that it was probably 10 so I said I would return later in the week to buy it. I returned today and the woman who served me was very passive aggressive and seemed to not believe that I was telling the truth about the price.In the end she did let me have it for 10 but was still a little rude as I tried paying and as I left. . .I came home and discovered that there was still crumbled up tissue in the pockets of my jacket too. . . Which is kind of gross?I just wish the people who worked there were a little more kind and patient to younger customers who are just wanting to look and actually buy things.
I really want to like this place, the clothes are amazing and interesting but I always come out miserable. Today was another example, just looking at clothing with my mum, comment on a lovely dress, member of staff proceeds to tell me I probably wouldn't fit into it, without any kind of prompt. As someone with an eating disorder, this destroyed the rest of my day. Please be more considerate with your customer service, I'm trying to find a reason to come back but I just don't feel welcome, like the staff want you to leave as soon as possible. Perhaps it's just me.
Was told off by the shopkeeper for trying on a woman's hat because I'm not a woman... It's 2018, get over yourself and let people have a look. It also meant that we didn't actually purchase what we wanted to while there because it made us all feel so unwelcome. Delightful.
