Set in a lovely area good clean site and the owners very kind and helpful nothing any trouble for them.
We love it there it's a stone throw from the beach. You have two supermarkets there. The staff who run it are great ,friendly and if you need help they are only to happy to help. They also have an on site launderette which is reasonably priced.
Absolutely fantastic holiday at Axevale again this year. The staff were really helpful & accomodating when we asked to be moved to a van with heating in every room last minute. The caravan was clean, warm & well equipped, we couldn't have asked for more. We'll be back again next year.We discovered the Kings Arms just down the road, friendly people, great food & great price too. Well worth a visit!
3rd visit with grandchildren just as enjoyable as the 1st. Quiet site. Lovely views. Convenient for Seaton town centre which is 10 minute walk away. Lots to see and do in the area. Caravan clean although starting to look tired. Site well kept. Electric kettle & toaster would be a useful addition as well as a decent small, sharp knife & oven gloves. Hopefully we will be back when it would be nice to see some of the suggestions actioned by the owners to help secure future business at this lovely site.
Lovely spot. Friendly owners and staff. Very quite site. Caravan was as described; a fairly new one, very clean and comfortable. Couple of niggles but easy fixes for Axevale. The site needs outside furniture as an absolute must have? It was really hot inside to sit and eat. It was beautiful weather the weekend we went. We took a travel barbecue, but there is nowhere to sit outside. Also need some sharp knives to cut up food with other than just a bread knife. A non stick frying pan would also be advantages also. There is no Toaster or Kettle. The grill in the oven works but is not the best; so a toaster would be great. The only other point is that the car parking at the end site is very tight. If you get 2 or 3 4x4 type vehicles it is a real struggle to get in the gap. I couldn't get in our car one morning so I had to climb through the back window. I would recommend to others. if all niggles were sorted I'd give 4 * rating 5* would have to have a few more amenities..
