A nightmare journey in heavy rain resulted in 2 Green Flag call outs for 2 separate problems ... l had outstanding service from Highfield Garage. Friendly, reassuring and very competent, a huge thankyou to Simon, Aaron and recovery driver, Simon, who delivered me and my car safely home.
Nothing but praise for Martin Fieldhouse . We were on our way to Bristol Airport when we broke down 4.00a.m.on a Sunday, struggled in to Cullompton Services whilst talking to Green Flag, explained we had a plane to catch and while I was arranging somebody to get us to the airport and discussing leaving the car in the services and the key with McDonalds Green Flag had got hold of Highfield and Martin had phoned my husband and was arranging to recover our car back to our choice of garage. By the time we reached Bristol Airport about an hour later he was on the phone again advising he had the car and would keep it until Monday morning and take it to the garage then. Our minds were put at ease by his wonderful service.
They were due to pick my car up on the 26th of October, but picked it up on the 23rd without contacting me. After travelling 200 miles to get greeted by Paul who was astoundingly rude and ignorant, I was told i wasnt allowed to access my car because the compound was shut. While leaving the premises, I looked in the garage to see if my car was there and unfortunately it wasnt. However, after having a conversation with Geoff, the mechanic, he very kindly rang the boss for me and explained my situation. The boss seemed very understanding and told Geoff to take me to the compound to empty my car. Overall, the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Apart from Paul. No one likes Paul.

Haven't used the garage, however we had these guys come and recover us when we broke down in rural Devon. A nicer bunch of people you couldn't wish for, they we're so helpful and understanding. If I'm ever in Devon and need stuff doing to my car I will definitely be coming here!
