I didn't use Stephens Scown directly but through my solicitor saw the responses given to their emails. Let me say after 3 months of trying to purchase a vacant property with no chain we were nowhere near to exchanging. Princess Parrenas who was in charge of our purchase could just about muster up 3-5 word responses to my solicitors well written requests. Her main answer to questions is 'we will revert'. I think out of 18 questions relating to searches 10 of them had that response. One other one was 'This is a house' which made me chuckle. What did she think we were buying? A dog kennel!!I imagine she gets well paid for her job which sickens me as she'd be better off putting her pen down, switching of her PC and heading home and being paid for doing nothing, which is exactly what she does in the office by the sounds of it.I wouldn't wish it upon anyone to get Princess Parrenas as there solicitor for a house purchase. Disgusting service.
