Went to visit the shrouds of the Somme, lovely place

A beautiful, peaceful spot to escape the bustle of the city in a central location right next to Exeter Central. These historic gardens haven't changed one bit since I was a child which is very refreshing as everywhere else in the city gets a modern revamp.
Peaceful, pretty gardens that merge with Rougemont Castle and grounds. Lovely to sit in on hot days, well connected to the town center, and a great place to read a book, especially with the library being so close. The only issue with it can be the sporadic closed days, especially after a bank holiday/festival has occurred, but other than that, a wonderful park to relax in.
