Spent the evening playing games and drinking cocktails. Great atmosphere. Happy staff.

My partner and I visiting this place for the first time after wanting to check it for while and we were not disappointed. With us both being quite indesisive, the choice of games left us wondering what to play, but we wasn't lost for long. The staff were great in suggesting games and taught us how to play and before we knew it we were screwing each other over, like any loving partnership would do whilst playing a head to head board game. I would like to give a special shout out to Dani, who was just fantastic, she knew her stuff and was always on hand to give any advice or to explain the rules to rule bending other half. One thing I would suggest, is to change the wine, it's expensive for what it is, but overall did not affect the whole experience too much. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back.

Very good. Food and game expertise at hand was excellent . Really nice venue and I think reasonably priced for the quality (indeed a game I bought today was a lot cheaper than Amazon). Only minor issue is you have to remember to book a table to guarantee it at the time of your choosing.

This is my favourite place in town. I attend their open gaming every Tuesday night from 18:00. The staff are friendly and always happy to help with the rules to new board games. I have also used their online booking system which is simple and easy to use. You can also book tables if you're physically there too. This place can get mega busy and loud which can lead to long waits for food at drinks at peak times. If this is a problem, you might want to ask them when it is less busy and book a table for then instead. Food and drinks can be pricey but they are very tasty. And there is a good range of both alcoholic, soft drinks and hot drinks. Also you do not have to buy food and drinks to be there as you pay entry to play with the games which is the main reason for going!!Hey management, please bring back memberships! Thanks

I had such a great evening here. Cafe was absolutely full of people playing board games and having fun. Very good selection of beers and wine. The staff are delightful providing table service and, very importantly, advice on how to play your chosen games. A fiver for entry is a great bargain for the fun to be had. We played many games but the best was Obama rides a Lama which was a hoot. I will be back.
