Now let me tell you son I've been through many train stations in my life, but not a single one comes as close to perfection as Polsloe Bridge. Right, before you go all "How can a train station be perfect Oscar you miserable sack of fecal matter? Surely it is just a means to an end!" let me set the record straight and I mean Hugh Hefner straight, if that's still acceptable to say in 2018. Polsloe Bridge is just an 80 metre long slab of concrete that lets you get on a train, nothing more, nothing less. This beautiful testament to minimalism and functionality properly gets me going. Not only that but Polsloe Bridge is the gateway to almost any location you can dream of, within a 20 mile radius of Exeter. Listen here mate without Polsloe Bridge I wouldn't have got to Exmouth to buy my beautiful bucket hat (god rest its soul), I wouldn't have gotten to Starcross where I saw a woman so deep in the K hole she was sobbing uncontrollably while hugging her knees so hard her feet were turning blue, and finally I wouldn't have gotten so delayed that I missed my connection to go up country and see my poor excuse for a loving companion that one time and therefore was able to go home and play with someone who loved me far more, myself. 5/5 This train station is absolutely perfect, unless you're in a wheelchair as there's no accessible access so you'll struggle, a lot.
Just one platform and a small covered waiting area. No ticket barriers and only a telephone information point.
Could do with putting moor carriages never enough room!
Very useful and convenient to come into town and work
A lot quicker and cheaper than skanky stage coach buses
