Used this vet as an emergency vet for my cat, as it does emergency for my normal vet. Was able to take him straight in and they were able to treat the problem quickly and in a caring way. Receptionist was very helping and helped sort out the insurance. Would recommend. Location is right next to St Davids railway station behind where the taxis queue up.
Very friendly reception team and I saw a lovely vet who put my mind at rest about my poorly dog.
Used the practice as an emergency vet for my dog. Was able to take him straight in. The staff were calm and caring. They organised a referral for us , got him ready and even carried him to the car. Caring and friendly staff. Very busy practice during the day, but receptionists new everything and could answer all my questions regarding insurance. Would highly recommend
They seem to be nice enough, and if you can get a regular vet then it will be a better experience. Too many vets and changing around so your pet doesn't get to know the vet. Generally ridiculous prices and offering of unnecessary treatments! Don't be afraid to get a 2nd opinion or ask to see a specific vet and arrange your appointments around their schedule.
To start with when I took my rabbit to get one of his shots; got there to be told that they didnt have the shot in stock! I had to book the time off work so we then had to go to another one of their vets that did have the shot, this whole thing should have taken half an hour but it turned into 2 hours, no discount offered or not really an apology! Second thing, had to take my rabbit to get nurtured. Unfortunately he died under anesthetic, which I know can happen & despite being very upset i accepted it. How I was dealt with after was a disgrace! I opted for him to have a cremation & I kept on getting misinformation re who was to call me when it was done etc....the vet blamed the cremation people & visa versa. I then called in to see if he was @ the vets to be collected & I had to say I was not happy with the service only to have the receptionist start arguing saying they never rang people re this to which I said I didnt want to have an argument about it and she was totally overlooking my rabbit had just died AND in that surgery! I wrote an email to the practice manager who sent back a dismissive email re their service & they will concentrate on dealing with the cremation side of things, well after that phone call it clearly isnt happening! This is the worse vets Ive ever known, no sympathy, empathy or nothing! Staff who cannot get when a person is ringing in re a cremation should register what is being asked & not argue back as saying cremation is a bit of a give away! Awful, horrendous service! Avoid!
