Really helpful staff, great value and I came away with a better understanding of how bikes work!
A social enterprise that upcycles donated bikes. They will also teach you how to maintain your bike for a suggested donation of 5 per hour excluding replacement parts. If you volunteer your time with them, you get to be part of the team, whilst also getting free use of infrastructure, when needed. It's basically give and take. Earn social credits and spend social credits, similar to the Exeter LETS scheme. The more time you put in the more you will learn, but expect to do your own homework as well, by reading a good bike maintenance manual (like the highly rated blue book). Difficult to progress when you only have a small amount of free time, but the team make you feel welcome nonetheless. Thanks guys!
