Just collected my first touring bike and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I had the rear cassette changed to make the hills a little easier ,they fitted a low rider rack and even charged and fitted my new lights. They answered all my questions and gave great advice based on personal experience. I'm so glad my wife persuaded me to call in that Saturday afternoon in December otherwise I would have missed such a bargain and the excellent customer service. Now to get fit for LEJOG in June.
I recently bought a child seat for my mountain bike from the Bike Shed Forestreet. From the moment I walked through the door I had amazing service from helping me choose the right seat, to fitting it and then talking me through how it works and adjusting it correctly for my daughter. All this two days before Christmas! Fantastic customer service, will definitely be back.
This is a quality local bike store with plenty of knowledgeable staff eager to assist and backed up by a competent service department. I'd advise ignoring some of the old 'one star' reviews as I suspect they relate to a specific rather brusque staff member who I have not encountered for a while and has probably departed. My experience has been very positive and these guys stand behind every bike they sell with good after-sales care.
Great service. As a bike luddite, they gave me great advice today on a few bits I needed for my bike. Prices seemed reasonable, but you can't put a price on great, friendly service. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. 5 stars all the way. Kevin
