Excellent car repair centre
Contacted 1st October 2018. Quotation arrived three days later which I accepted. Car collected on a low loader 17th October, with a telephone call advising they would be arriving in 30 minutes..arrived exactly on time and car returned in absolutely pristine condition 18th October at 1600 hours, with a telephone call advising they would be delivering. The bill was less than that quoted which was amazing.What a great company and it is rare to find such integrity these days. Thank you Sowton Body Repairs and I was delighted to be referred to you by BMW, which car you so perfectly put back to it's new condition.It is only four weeks old with less than 700 miles on the clock, so I was delighted to have it back so quickly!! Thank you.
As Westerly BMW approved garage, please dont use. Took our BMW for repair after Westerly recommended them so thought, they must be good! How wrong was I. Car returned with black trim different colour to side not damaged. Alloy wheel still badly damaged even though it was right beside the damage (normal wear and tear! Really!!). Photos taken of damage literally took 2 mins, how you can assess anything in that time. No response to my question as to why they didnt consult my Insurance Company re different colour of trim. Disgraceful shoddy service from a so called professional service! I am sure not one of them would have been happy with this type of service and I had to make all the phone calls. Will advise Westerly to rethink who they recommend.
Another garage which is a waste of time! Advertises on their website - ''Regardless of whether the accident was your fault or not, we are able to recover your vehicle, supply a courtesy car and repair your damaged vehicle and return it to you when all the work has been completed. We will liaise with your insurance company to ensure that the whole process is as painless an experience as possible''. So using their online message asked to check they could sort all out for an insurance claim - said none there could! GARAGES!
Took my BMW Z4 coupe in to repair rear bumper & wing after someone drove up the back of it. Was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews on google but used it because was recommended BMW body shop. Damage was repaired thoroughly, all the panel gaps are perfect. Car was finished on time & service was professional. Overall I can't fault it & would take my car back there again in the future without hesitation
