Room wasn't cleaned properly, had previous occupiers sick splashes on the divan and little pool on the floor! Staff sorted us out and were very apologetic, they also upgraded our room. However, rather than come up and show us to the room, we had to take all stuff back down to reception to get a new room key and trudge back up. Only one pack of biscuits in the room for two people, stingy. The doors don't fit flush against the frame and let a fair bit of light in, and noise. Parking available and very close, but unlike most hotels without own parking, they don't offer a discount.Cleaners at the lift went first and made no effort or room for guests. Should realy let guests go first and wait. Staff were great, food was good. The young lad behind the bar was very attentive and great customer service. Bed (super king) was very comfy and overall facilities were good. The important stuff (appart from the initial cleanliness situ) was good. The review may sound a tad picky to some, but customer service and experience is really important when when making a decision if to ever return.
Always had a great stay here. Great room, friendly, helpful staff and an excellent buffet breakfast!
A good central hotel. Comfortable beds and bedding etc. There is a very good choice of food for breakfast and the restaurant is good too. Portions are large.
Staff are great hear. Our booking agency had made hash of the booking but Alex on reception could not have done more to resolve the issue. The conference lady made our meeting run smoothly. Hotel rooms were a bit tired and dated but perfectly adequate.
