Clean tidy and welcoming. Only complaint was had room service for breakfast which was cold on both mornings and not all the items selected arrived

Clinical toothpaste advert staff. Not happy paid for privilege room ( extra 20 ) and upgraded to half board ( extra 30) . Wish I hadn't bothered. Grubby threadbare bathrobe. Couple staying so why 1 shampoo - 1 soap-toothbrush small hand towel bath towel (Not sheet) Soft drinks 1 coke 1 small orange juice 2 water.... Not luxury to me sorry.Evening meal was disaster I was told I could order free starter and main upto 15 from main ( excuse me I paid 30 for 2 so how is that free? ) staff didn't know what they where doing . Then brought another photocopied set menu Which had 3 courses for 25. Was told I can have 2 courses from that menu.??? Everyone was looking at us. And frankly I was so embarrassed I left without eating....

Beautiful surroundings and good DJ but very expensive food. It was good quality but for 43 per head you'd expect more than 3 tiny bowls of vegetables (appropriate for two people) to be shared between a table of 10. Three courses later and my entire table was still hungry. I'm also convinced their waiters are aware of this problem as when people started looking around to ask for more, they had all run off. Not a single one to be found for the half an hour gap between courses I think we'd still use it for another party venue as they had good entertainment. But it wouldn't have taken much more effort to really blow us away xx

I really enjoy staying at Accor hotels and normally opt for the Mercure chain. I think they offer far more than your standard Premier Inn and the like. This place is no exception. However. It is a little dated and could probably use a refresh at some point but as always the staff and service is above and beyond. The food was great and the beer was lively.

Polite and helpful service. Comfortable, spacious room, though clean, better attention to dust and cobwebs around air conditioning, curtains and corners would enhance the overall appearance and house keeping level. Also, the extra blanket in the cupboard hadn't been cleaned in a very long time!! To be honest, hotel looks tired, there are a lot of stains on the fabric furniture, which again questions cleanliness and attention to detail. Shame, because the staff are all very willing and kind.
