We received a very warm welcome when we visited. The pub is laid out very well, with plenty of room to sit. Although we didn't eat, the food being served around us certainly looked and smelt delicious.
A real Devonshire welcome from all the staff when joined friends for a Sunday lunch celebration. Superb meal in a cosy and friendly restaurant. The staff were attentive and humorous , nothing too much trouble. Everyone loved the food and we had a very enjoyable few hours. Excellent value, we recommend you try this wonderful restaurant. I think the pictures show our enjoyment. Thank you all for such a great time.
Nice fish and chips which was lactose free, nice garden too. Handled a large group of us booked in advance. Big car parkSecond visit had chickpea curry, really nice. Sat beside open fire ona cold eve. Staff were very pleasant and humorous at the bar. Enjoyable yet peaceful dinner.
Took good neighbours for Sunday lunch. Ample car park. Very pleasant atmosphere in pub. Dogs allowed. Had three adult meals and one for 5 year old. All good but so big it took some effort for an 89 year old (that was me) to finish. Certainly value for money. Staff had a nice manner. Will go again.
Great local pub, very old but nicely up to date inside with a great mix of old and new furniture. The food is excellent, perfect size for dinners, maybe a tad large for lunch, for some. Good selection of drinks with a big garden, sheltered patio area and kids play area. And a short walk from Exeter Chiefs ground which is most handy
