Attended a seminar here with work, great central location, very nice looking building from the outside, inside was clean and spacious, good size meeting room. Both the lunch provided and the refreshments were very good, only issue being the did the scones the incorrect Cornish way! Would like to stay overnight to see the quality of the accommodation.
Hotel to much noisy. You simply can hear anything from next room and the floor is noisy and anyone waling in the room on top of you will make you hear all floor noise. Also poor breakfast
Great central location allowing easy access to city shops and facilities. Comfortable bed and a reasonable, rather than luxurious, breakfast offer. The big minus is the noise. From around 6am outside noise from construction, kitchens, beer deliveries, I don't know, but it made sleep unavailable. So if you're happy to go to bed early and get up early I can recommend, otherwise avoid.
Location good close to everything in Exeter. Parking limited and chargeable as an extra. Room cold despite upping the radiator to max and bathroom freezing. Towels thin and small. Great showers. Function going on so had a disco in our room until 1am. Couldn't get served in bar...not enough staff. Reception staff very friendly. Beautiful building. On balance probably wouldn't stay again.
Arrived late last night only to find I'd booked the wrong night. Kat on reception was fantastic and although the hotel was fully booked found us a room that had become available (due to the noise from a generator out in the street). The bed was so comfortable that we slept really well and didn't notice that the generator was taken away during the night. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
